Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs. Contact us if you prefer to hire your own delivery service. 

All products may take 60 or more to be delivered, as they came from our facility in Brazil. After 120 days of no delivery, the client could be refunded. (Except products from Casa Brasil NY 2022, delivery estimate time betwen 5 to 20 days).


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Shipping and installation are NOT included in the product price and it is needed a third-party carriers service. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any item can be found when placing an order. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Damage in shipping is responsibility of the carrier, please check the product and note on the driver´s delivery ticket in case there is any damage so we can assist. The driver MUST sign the ticket.

Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Furniture with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

As a product of natural raw material (wood and metal), changes in the shape of the piece may occur such as cracking, dimensional reduction, rust, change in shade, mold, termites, warping and wood twisting. These changes are not considered defects as they are inherent characteristics of natural woods, therefore, we only insure the warranty if the product has an assembly defect. 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for a similar item, send us an email at contact@selvahardwoods.com and send your item to: MIFS,

If there is no similar products available in our warehouse to exchange by a defect product, the exchange may take more than 200 days or you will be refund.
